"Great railroad museum in a working depot building. We enjoyed the caboose in the front and then toured the main building. It was small, but full of mostly Norfolk-Southern/Southern Railway memorabilia. The dining car exhibit was interesting since I didn't realize they had offered that. It was cool to see the "SR" logo on chef's hats and coats as well as on the dining ware."

"Great place to railfan the NS Charlotte Line. There is plenty of parking and cover in case it rains. I was there on National Train Day, and it was a great place for kids!"

"What a wonderful, cute little museum. It was our first time visiting, and Bruce walked us through the museum and shared his knowledge of trains and the history of trains in Spartanburg. It's a small museum, but packed with historical objects and lots of local history. If you've never been, it's worth a stop. Admission is free, but donations are welcome. There's also a small gift shop. Also, dont forget to check out the caboose out front!"
