Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for its breathtaking beauty, traditional reverence, and the welcoming nature of its congregation. The impressive architecture and acoustics enhance the spiritual experience, making services particularly memorable. While generally positive, some may find the traditional approach to be very formal.

"We had the privilege of attending the Vigil Mass for the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord while traveling through the area. It was clear that we were directed to this church by the Holy Spirit. The church is beautiful and breath taking from the moment you walk in the front door. Its high ceilings amplified the music and the cantor's voice sounded as if it was descending from Heaven. Father Whitman was so reverent and his reciting of the Eucharistic Prayer was deliberate and spiritually driven. Quite impressive was the fact that most, if not all, the worshipers stayed until the final blessing and hymn, a rarity for Saturday night Masses in this day and age. We will certainly return to this church in the future if in the area. We only hope and pray that our fellow believers in the Spartanburg area appreciate what a Blessing they have at this church."
