Is my 2-day Zion NP itinerary balanced enough?
Hey everyone, I’ll be spending 2 full days in Zion National Park this September before heading to the Grand Canyon. Here’s my draft plan — would love feedback on whether the pacing feels right, and if there are better swaps/alternatives. **Day 1** * **Temple of Sinawava** (on…

Best way to spend 4 hours max in Zion?
TL;DR my girlfriend and I have a couple of hours to spare for Zion National Park. I think that's fine because my gf is not outdoorsy and would hate long/strenuous hikes. I'm after a few very easy walks with nice/interesting views, or places to drive and stop at, to give us a…
Question about itinerary and Canyon Overlook Trailhead
Hi all, I arrive monday, may 27 around 16:00 at Zion and we leave on wednesday may 29 around noon. In that time i'd like to do the Narrows, the Canyon overlook Trail and the Watchman trail. I'm a bit worries about Canyon overlook Trail parking. We stay at Springdale. And…

2-day itinerary?
I am heading to Zion next week and will be there for two days. The only things we know are that we want to do the Narrows and we don’t want to do Angel’s Landing. Any suggestions on how to fill the remainder of our time? Thanks!

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the unique perspectives of Angels Landing and Scout Lookout from Big Bend Viewpoint, calling it a 'stunning' and 'meaningful' stop. The chance to spot California Condors with ranger assistance is a major highlight. While there are no facilities, the short trail to the Virgin River and the overall beauty make it a worthwhile stop.
"The viewpoint located approximately one mile before reaching Temple of Sinawava and is the Number 8 Shuttle Bus Stop with the shuttle is in service. What makes this viewpoint unique is you are right below Angles Landing (to the left when facing the Virgin River) and Scout Lookout (to the right when facing the river). This was very meaningful to us, since we had hiked to the top the day before, allowing us to see Angels Landing from above and below. If you look to the south, you can also see “The Organ and The Great White Throne.” There are limited parking spaces here when the shuttle is not running, but there are no restroom facilities at this site. Still, what a stunning view you will have from here, seeing some of Zion’s iconic rock formations and you even take a short hike to stand on the banks of the Virgin River."

"Gorgeous and worth getting off here on the shuttle. The wind really wips through here and there is often a park ranger here watching for California Condors and ither birds of prey that pass through and occasionally nest here."
