"What a beautiful building! The day we visited the historic district, we were able to go in and self tour. Everything about this building is exquisite. Floor to ceiling, everything is worth viewing. It makes you wonder just how they were able to create this back in the time when there weren't power tools and everything was brought in off boats, trains, horse and buggy. There is a small gift shop also worth visiting on the back side with religious items. Entrance to the church was free and there were volunteers on site to assist with questions. This was an unexpected surprise to be able to see during our visit to St. Augustine."

It’s filled with stained glass, figurines, and decor that are absolutely stunning, and there’s a solemn aura throughout the place. I would highly recommend sitting in a pew and taking a few moments to reflect while admiring the interior."

"The oldest Catholic parish in the United States — just look at their website! — the Cathedral Basilica is a spectacular if not huge church that one would expect to see in Europe, not Florida. I felt like I was transported several thousand miles in just a few moments. This is a must visit regardless of your religion if you were visiting Saint Augustine."
