While the fort itself has limited remains, the petroglyphs and the natural surroundings offer a unique experience. "Its only a little ways from the dinosaur tracks but the sunsets are absoultely beautiful. there isn't much left of the fort that protected the settlers via the valley from st george to hurricane but its just amazing highly recomeend this and the dino tracks it really interesting."
Victor Kinderknecht
"Enjoyed a bit of exploring rock Fort building. Nice rock wall. Fairly easy walk down to petroglyphs & signatures from late 1800s ."
Rolene Knudson
"We went there to see the petroglyphs and go for a fabulous hike. The fort is pretty cool it's not much left to it. The dinosaur tracks are kind of hard to find but interesting. The road to it is your typical washboard go to 10 miles an hour and there are no bathrooms except nature. We explored all over the canyon looking for petroglyphs and had a wonderful time. If you're an off-roader it looks like a big place for you guys to go. I've included some really cool pictures of what looks to be a old campsite"
