It was a busy Friday evening, but the manager found us a place to sit at the bar within about 10 minutes, and apologized for the wait (which was totally unnecessary). I had the surf and turf daily special and my wife had the filet medallions. We shared the butterscotch pudding for dessert, which I would highly recommend. The staff was attentive and the kitchen cooked our steaks to perfection. Highly recommend eating here if you’re in St. Helena"

"Spectacular long time local favorite with different takes and tastes on favorite foods. The long, narrow, high ceiling and rock walls make for a loud setting. The Oysters are fresh and tasty. The Lobster roll is artful, enhanced by thoroughly mixing and drizzling the vin. The Salmon was perfectly done . Try the suggested plates like the Scallops. Even desserts innovate with the Brûlée Banana Split, though there was too much ice cream, hiding the delight. There is a full bar and an extensive,, Cabernet heavy, local wine list. Service is good but stretched, with long time waitstaff."
