"Is one of those lesser-known things to do in St. Petersburg that’s always a good trip! Shows are every evening at Wednesday & Friday and if it’s dark out, you can get a view of the major planets out in the balcony! Each season has a specific theme to it. The best time to come is in October, because there’s all sorts of charming decorations out in the planetarium.
Every presentation is an educational speaker with stars patterned on a spherical screen with Dr. Craig Joseph speaking about everything you can see in the night sky. I learned a lot about the constellations and Saturn’s moons during this! He also has a bit of humor and showed the Halloween decorations early. Overall, would definitely recommend!"

"Well worth the wait for a clear and crisp night! Mars, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn and a sliver of the moon looked amazing thru the telescopes. I only wish the 20-inch telescope was trained on Jupiter and its four moons, but I'll leave that for a return visit. Dr. Craig Joseph did an amazing job during the planetarium show, sharing his deep knowledge of the solar system and the cosmos, delivered with generous amounts of humor that kept the packed audience entertained and informed.
