Reviews Summary

Cove Island Park is lauded as a beautiful and spacious destination offering a mix of sandy beaches, walking paths, and abundant waterfowl. Visitors appreciate its cleanliness and the peaceful atmosphere, especially during off-peak times. However, the high cost of day passes for non-residents and the restriction of dogs from the beach are noted drawbacks.

"BEAUTIFUL park with great views! Great place for walking, running, walking the dog, or just enjoying the outdoors. Spacious. Easy to find space away from others."

"Came here for the day with my dog. Great place for her to run around but unfortunately dogs aren’t allowed on the sand. Many different fields to lay on, paths to walk and water to dip in! Parking is expensive if you aren’t a resident and could take some time to get up the street but definitely doable with about a 15 min walk… Nice spot to spend the day that has all in one beach & park!"

Romina Montti

"One of my favorite places to go for a walk, picnic, or trip to the beach in Stamford. The sunrises and sunsets are always gorgeous near the shore. Many people walk their dogs, and there’s also a playground for children. During the summer, a beach permit is required otherwise you’ll have to pay for a day pass."
