Was.pretty dirty it seems.
I did love that the cocktail waitress wasn't non existent all the nights we were there.
Pool is dirty, needs cleaned, all the edges where water meets brown.
Food at Cafe de Solis always decent (except broccoli and cauliflower tasted nasty, like fishy or something came w prime rib. Oh potatoes gross too..) Meat was tasty. Price right"

"Man I wanted to say better things. But i’ll just be honest.
Our room was free… so beggars can’t be choosers I guess, but prob would’ve rather paid for a nicer place.
Room door did not close all the way unless you yanked it closed. Paint pealing or missing several places. Only two pillows per each queen bed. Ok.
Vending machines on hotel floors DO NOT WORK! Not only that, when it first happened the front desk laughed about it, then transferred me to the cage. ($3 isn’t that much to complain about on it’s own) who acted mad that I was sent to them. Then they said they’d give me a number to call the folks who service the machines. Hung up on me. Wife begged for a drink late night and I lost $6 more trying machines in the other floors. Eventually walked my butt to CVS..
The worst part of them mot working isn’t the $9. It’s that all the employees seem to know and no one cares. They laugh even. Just put up a sign or shut them off.
Pool is closed or open “whenever we can get a lifeguard to show up.” Pool is great! Great great! But if you can’t use it, like 2 separate times during our 3 day stay, then what’s the point?
Employees also have a poorer attitude than other places around. The whole property and atmosphere almost felt depressing.
But of construction too.
2 stars may be generous, but the location and pool (when open) are great."

"We had an extremely disappointing experience at Bally's Lake Tahoe.

My wife and I were traveling with 3.5-year-old son. When I checked in at 2 PM, I requested a crib for my son. The receptionist assured me she could add one and would have it set up in our room. After spending the day sightseeing, we returned at 9:30 PM (past my child's bedtime) only to discover no crib had been provided.

When I returned to reception, a different receptionist was completely unaware of the crib request (even after searching in their computer system) and then claimed they couldn't provide a crib due to fire code violations. After I explained that I had been promised one earlier and received no prior notification of any restrictions, he changed his explanation, stating that their "crib" was actually a bassinet intended for infants, and suggested I had misunderstood the earlier conversation. I clarified that a crib and bassinet are different items entirely, and pointed out that my 3.5-year-old son had been standing right at the reception desk during check-in, making it impossible for the staff to mistake his age or needs.

When I asked about alternative solutions, such as switching to a room where a crib could be accommodated, he initially claimed this was impossible due to my third-party booking through Chase's website. He later contradicted himself, saying they were fully booked. As compensation, he offered to waive our $20 parking fee - an inadequate solution that didn't address our actual need for sleeping arrangements.

Consequently, we were forced to have our son sleep in our bed, constantly worried about him falling off. My son was also unable to sleep as he typically sleeps in his crib both at home and during previous travels. None of us slept well through the night. Additionally, we had to request a room change upon arrival because we were initially assigned a room directly next to the elevator bank, which was extremely noisy.

The staff was unhelpful throughout this ordeal. The receptionist displayed an arrogant and dismissive attitude, offering absurd explanations and blaming the customer rather than taking responsibility for their unprofessional service and complete lack of hospitality.

An additional issue I observed during check-in (though I didn't complain at the time since it was minor compared to the crib situation) was that the hotel charges both a substantial resort fee and a $20 daily parking fee. Neither fee was clearly communicated to other guests checking in during my check-in time, resulting in considerable confusion and arguments at the front desk."
