"We booked our wedding block here for our wedding weekend, so many of our guests stayed at this hotel. The best part of the experience was definitely the location — it was convenient, and we’re grateful our guests were able to be close to everything.
That said, there were several disappointments. We dropped off welcome bags for our guests the day before and were assured they’d be handed out at check-in. Unfortunately, several guests didn’t receive theirs, and some had to go back down to the desk to get them. We ended up having to call and remind the staff, which added stress during a weekend where we already had plenty going on.
Our own experience checking in on our wedding night was especially underwhelming. As the bride and groom arriving for our honeymoon suite, we were greeted very coldly by the gentleman at the front desk — no congratulations, no warmth, just an annoyed, icy demeanor. Once inside the suite, we were let down again. We expected it to feel special, but it was essentially just a regular room connected to a living area. Nothing stood out, and honestly, we would have saved the money and just booked a standard room if we had known.
Even at checkout, we experienced the same cold reception. While the location was great and convenient, the overall service and experience — especially for such a meaningful occasion — fell short of our expectations."

"Very convenient location, a little confusing to find the entrance with all of the one way streets and some of them shut down for the Harry Potter Festival. But we finally got there. Room is super nice, bed was comfortable, view was beautiful. What a precious town. We only stayed one night but the hotel was a perfect stopover."

"We loved to hotel, the history, architecture and location. The people who were at the service desk were amazing, Ms. Jackie stands out. Wish the bar area was open in the evening. Breakfast was okay, paid for what is the usual included Continental breakfast. We were there for 4 days but no one ever checked on the room, towels trash. We will definitely be back but hope for better service. The location is the draw."
