"I’m not sure what is more shocking — that they’re closing or that I hadn’t reviewed them here before.

Crown Ridge Tiger Sanctuary offered their last public tour this weekend. Here are some of my photos from my visit.

Alexis, Izzy, Suvarna, Gracie, Thor, Sebastian, Shakira, and Watson have been a big part of our Family traditions. I cannot express how sad I am to lose this home and safe option for future tigers that needed to be here too. To the staff and volunteers: thank you."

"Visiting this tiger sanctuary was such an incredible experience! The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable, sharing so much about each tiger’s story. Most importantly, it’s clear how loved and well cared for the tigers are. It’s truly heartbreaking that they are closing after all these years, but I’m so grateful we had the chance to visit."

"This beautiful sanctuary has been around for almost 20 years (with tigers) and it beaks my heart to hear that it's closing! I understand that things change, I'll just miss the tigers being so close! This sanctuary is a rescue haven for the abused and neglected and they have cared for SO many animals! I am thankful for their efforts and the difference they made for the creatures in their care. God speed on your next phase in life!"
