It's hard to find this old of European history in the Midwest, especially Missouri. Highly recommend putting this on the list if you are nearby. There are a few other French Colonial house in town run by other organizations you should see as well.
The National Park buildings appear to be under renovation as of Apr 2024. Once those are complete, I am sure it will be awesome.
The historic center of Ste Genevieve is a 10ish minute walk up the road where you can find shops of all sorts and restaurants. 30ish minutes outside of town are several picturesque wineries."
