"So glad we stopped here!! It's a cool place to check out with or without kids. There is a decent amount of walking outside if you want to really explore the marsh. They have stroller/wheelchair friendly ramps. Inside there is a lecture hall where the "safari" tour also starts in with a 15 minute video. Very friendly and helpful staff. Learned some really cool facts about horseshoe crabs and fiddler crabs. They talk about much more, though!"

"Fantastic experience at the Wetlands Institute kayak tour! The guide and his grandson were wonderful — so kind and made our family feel totally comfortable, even as beginners. We saw amazing birds like osprey up close, and the marsh walk was the perfect ending. Highly recommend for families, couples, or solo travelers!"

You'll learn about the marine ecology and biology of birds, plants and sea creatures. At the end, the kids got to take turns steering the boat - a real treat."
