"Really cool spot to visit! Parking isn't far and there are lots of paths that lead up to it. The approach under the train tracks and through the woods is quite spectacular. We were lucky enough to catch the train coming through! It's amazing to see the path the granite had to take, and hard to imagine what incredibly grueling work it all must have been. Loved all the history and documentation they had to share on it. We were glad we made the visit. Highly recommend!"

"There is a parking lot nearby Quarry exhibit and from there we can walk through the quarry exhibit and see some historic information and pictures. We can see the other side of the mountain."

"If you've read my other reviews, you know I love Stone Mountain (despite it's beginnings). If you happen upon the Quarry Exhibit, you'll get a different view of the mountain plus some background about how the mountain was used for granite, etc. Go see yourself!! 👍🏾"
