"5 stars and it want even open. It’s not everyday that you get to see school house built in 1885. Even if it’s closed you can peer into the windows and be immersed in history. A beautiful unassuming structure that was only used from 1885-1917. A rare beauty that you should definitely visit!"

"We missed the hours of where we were able to go in, so we’ll have to try another weekend when we come back to Payson/Strawberry. but it’s always nice to come back here. Last time my family and I were here was in 2017. We have always been able to look in the windows and it’s really awesome to see what everything looks like back then. It still looks like it did and we met a lady who was picking up mail and she said that the schoolhouse has volunteers that help preserve the schoolhouse and keep it in good shape etc. Thanks to the volunteers! This has been a favorite place of mine since I was a kid so you’ve definitely got people that keep coming back and enjoy it! 🤍 Just need to catch it on a weekend when they are open! Better luck next year! Thank you for all you do, we will keep coming back, as I love history."

"This one room school started in 1884 and they maintained very well on the interior how it was in during the old period and the rule of the teacher and other things to know are very much interested. You can get parking and toilets (mobile)."
