"Previously, you could see the ocean from here, and it was beautiful. Since then, they had the gun some dredging and placed mountains of sand in front of the parking lot. It completely obstruct the view, but kids love sliding and rolling off it. Adults – not so much"

"The park is located on the side of the highway on our way home when we travel to Charleston near Mt Pleasant. I love the view of the water and beach along with dolphins swimming in the channel . It's always a great way to relax and unwind . There's adequate free parking and a few benches nearby to enjoy the views or an entire stretch of beach to sit and enjoy nature.
On today's visit, 4/30/25, I was shocked and disheartened to see the towering sand piles the no longer allow you to sit and enjoy the view of the water and dolphins. Literally all you could see was sand and more sand. Truly a sad day for a beautiful little park."
