What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Summerfield Farmers Market for its friendly, family-owned atmosphere and the quality of its local produce, meats, and baked goods. Many appreciate the variety of unique items available, from artisanal cheeses to handmade soaps. However, some have noted that produce can absorb scents from nearby soaps, and fruit flies have been observed around the fruit displays.
"This is a small little farm store. The people that run it are nice. The store smelled of the essential oils that the homemade soaps were made of, located in the front of the store as you walk in. All of the produce that we bought absorbed those fragrances. We did not use any of the potatoes or the peanuts that we bought because of it. They were out of cow's milk when we visited. We will not be going back, only on the basis of the produce smelling like the soaps. There were some fruit flies around the fruit so we didn't buy any fruit while we were there. All in all, with a few slight changes this store could be 4 or 5 star worthy.."
