"I went on a Sunday evening to watch the sunset and take pictures. I arrived about an hour prior to official sunset time and stayed 30 mins after as the sky turned different shades of oranges and reds. There were about 20 others there with me, which mostly left after the official sunset time. But the true beauty happens after the sun sets, so I got to enjoy it all to myself🙂
The mountain summit is open from an hour before sunrise to an hour after sunset. There are 2 vault restrooms on site in the parking lot."

"Made a quick stop to see the views. Nice viewing area. Took the steep walk to the right. Would have been better to use the walk up on the left from the parking lot."
Tracy Ryals
"The lookout was very nice! They have a paved road (kinda steep) up to the top, but also a handicap access that is gravel and an easier grade. The site has two bathrooms. Each one is men/women stall.
There was a trail before you get to the top and it's called Beech Bottom Falls. Be careful if you travel that one because it's got some fallen trees that you need to maneuver over."
