"We drove an hour for lunch in a remote location in Surry. Perhaps if you are traveling by ferry to Jamestown it would be worth the drive.
The location on the river is nice and would be great in warmer weather than November. They do have nice outdoor seating.
The food was not particularly good. The cook put no effort in making my seafood quesadilla. Out of 6 slices 2 had seafood, others were loaded with bacon lumped together. If the ingredients had been distributed with a little care it would have been better.
The waitress did not tell us about the specials. I may have asked for the seafood flatbread if I had known.
The service was good. Maybe we will try again during the summer."

"We have come here often this summer for lunch. It has quickly become one of my favorites.. It is by the water, the food is great. It is not super large but a warm atmosphere. Waitstaff is great. Today I had the stuffed flounder and my husband had the Captain combo platter. Both were great. We started out with a cup of the crab soup which was delicious."

"While visiting Williamsburg we were told about this restaurant. So we got visiting on the ferry and made it happen. It was between lunch and dinner time, so it hadn't gotten busy yet. My husband had the oysters, and I had the rockfish. Both were prepared perfectly. And with being seated by a window were we could see the water was the topping on the cake! Definitely recommend."
