"Visiting the area for a week and wife is a media specialist in Florida so always curious to observe the library investment and physical plant of other areas. So we paid a visit to the library on the mount.
And wow. Just wow ! Have to agree with the previous reviewer that if there were a library Olympics, this would be the gold medalist. We've seen a lot of libraries in our travels, and this one is a gem, from the sheer grandeur of the old courthouse, to the collections and various media offerings (computers, movies, exhibits, activities, and even a seed giveaway). This is truly a wonder for a small county and demonstrates their commitment and belief in literacy for all, not to mention the wise guidance and vision of the county commissioners (or elected political leaders). Puts some larger cities libraries to shame. I would urge anyone interested to take a look...truly impressive and makes me want to get a card !
