"What an amazing place to stay while in Talkeetna area. The views from the back porch, restaurant and lounge area are breathtaking! Denali is the focal point of this view, and when we were here, the fireweed was blooming bright and made for a nice contrast to the white mountain! The fireplace is a warm and welcoming sight right when you walk in the large doors. Our room was very clean, spacious, and shower had great pressure. We slept so well, as the blinds and curtains were truly room,darkening which was very important as we were here in July! The buffet breakfast had a nice variety of foods and the fresh fruit was delicious."

"The location is perfect. The Stone fireplace is beautiful. My complaints.. The lodge couches are worn out. The pillows are completely flat and it was hard for my group to get out of them. They literally were sunk in. The room. My room was clean, nicely put together and looked tidy over-all. There was no top sheet. There was not a fitted sheet, instead a top sheet tucked in like a fitted sheet. I had to sleep directly against the cover that they do not wash between stays (employee told me) I had red irritation bumps on my stomach where I made direct contact on the cover. But, if you have a mountain view room, do not miss the sunsets and sunrise."
