What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally praise George M. Steinbrenner Field for its intimate atmosphere, friendly staff, and good amenities like misting fans and water stations. However, the intense Florida sun can make afternoon games challenging, with limited shade options, and exiting parking can be a slow process.
"Went for a Rays game. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially at parking since our parking pass didn't show till the start of the game, but since we had the receipt, they honored it and let us park no issue. Nice food options that aren't too badly priced for a sports event. Loved the misters scattered throughout the park. Only downfall is in this Florida heat/sunshine, to get out of it meant you couldn't see the game. So you could choose shade or watching the game, which is why not only us but a lot of others left early.
Will be happy to say the refillable water station were amazing most I've seen at a stadium. And the offer of sunscreen was another added bonus as well."

"Went to see the Rays/Cardinal game with my son. We had a great time and the field was impressive. Love the fireworks and flashing lights when home runs were scored. Exiting parking after the game was slow and I feel that is something that could definitely be improved upon. That being said I would go there again and recommend it if you are a fan. Go Rays!"

"Nice Park, the employees were friendly, it had misting fans throughout the concourse which helped. A 12:10pm game does not have many shaded seats. The only ones that I could see were the last several rows in the upper sections along the 3rd base line or in right field where the long tables were. Still a great time when the Detroit Tigers win."
