Kiley Gardens is appreciated for its stunning sunset views and unique elevated location, offering a peaceful escape in downtown Tampa. While some find the landscaping basic, its charm lies in its proximity to other attractions and its potential for events and photography.
"It wasn't very impressive. Dead grass squares and concrete. We went because it's my daughter's name and spelled the same. It was clean and quiet though. Beautiful view of the sunset."

"Even though this place is in the heart of downtown, it's a nice cozy place to stop and take a load off. It's actually on top of the Curtis Hixon Parking garage. If you love soaking up the sun, you'll love this place because there is no shade during the day. However, I find it the perfect place to chill at night. You can chill and sit on one of the brick benches or bring a blanket or folding chair to sit on the grass. Lay down on the grass if you like, no one will bother you except someone's curious but cute dog. They use to let you charge your phone in the outlets, but for some reason they shut the electric off and placed locks on the outlets the last time I was there. It's our tax money that operates this park so making the outlets unavailable to guests is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5."

"Kiley Gardens is right beside Curtis Hixon Park. This area is my favorite in downtown Tampa.
Kiley Gardens is on top of the parking garage. It is a grassy area where you can have a picnic, look out on the river, see the sunset, people watch, etc.
If you haven't been, you need to check it out.
While you're there, you can walk next door to Curtis Hixon Park and visit the splash water fountains, dog park, great lawn or stroll down River Walk. Or even visit the children's museum and art museum. The art museum has a separate entrance restaurant and gelato stand.
So much to do!!"
