best unique nature spots for small groups
hi folks :) smitten man here, posting to ask for advice on a cute and unique/somewhat secluded nature park in the tampa/st pete/surrounding areas for a birthday celebration for my partner and 5 of her friends for a lil picnic. she is a big fan of the springs around orlando,…
Are there any quiet/secluded places where I can go to and be at peace at?
New Tampa Nature Park is usually empty during the week (and later in the day during weekends often, too) Nice walking trail. It leads to Flatwoods which tends to be busier at times but there’s plenty of park before getting there that’s quiet.

"It's about a half day park, but it's attached to other parks.
Has a couple of play areas, not a lot, though.
Paved trail goes to other long bike trails.
No restrooms other than a port-a-potty
It's definitely a nice little Park, unfortunately you'll never not hear the highway. Still, there are a few beautiful Cypress swamps and a couple of nice Boardwalk areas to chill out in. Plenty of picnic areas to stop and soak in nature with. BE AWARE that all of the hiking trails seem to dead end, but the paved trail goes out to more paved trails that lead into other parks adjacent to this one."
