What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Sheridan Opera House for its beautifully maintained historic character and intimate atmosphere, creating a respectful and engaging environment for performances. While the charm is undeniable, some find the front-row balcony seating uncomfortable and the air can feel stale during warmer periods. Despite minor drawbacks, the unique ambiance and quality of acts often lead to a desire to return.
"Little has been done over the years to the venue which has beautifully maintained it's character. The setting is intimate and they keep the audience respectful. The seats on the front row on the balcony are the most uncomfortable things I've ever sat in. There is almost no leg room. There was no air moving so the air was stale and it was warm. But the intimate setting of the concert helped to make up for it. I'll be back, but not in the front row on the balcony."

"Quaint and cool historic live music venue with standing room only general admission (the night i went, anyway). They have pretty big up and coming names, like the band i saw, called Shovels and Rope. It was sold out. The facilities were nice, including a bar, and there were lots of interesting and historic photos and memorabilia on the walls. Loved it. And Telluride."

"A great night seeing the infamous String Dusters from The balcony front row. Easy access to the bar and clean bathrooms down below."
