"The dam is located right behind the white pedestrian bridge. There's really not much to see. It's not a tall dam, and you can not reach it by kayaking as the buoys stop from going any further right at the front of the Pedestrian Bridge...
At the back of the dam, at least in the summer time, you will see some dried dirt and trees....along with a concrete sidewalk (on the side that the Tempe Center for Arts is on) that continues to N. Priest Dr and that ends on Highway 143."
