"The Hoover Dam Lookout in Arizona is by far the best place to view the Hoover Dam. The views from up here and along the road on the way up to the lookout are amazing. There is also a neat little gift shop, with food, and a picnic area set-up at the top. On the way back down, stop off at parking lot 12 and get the best views of the dam in the area. Yes, the Nevada side has the visitor center and tours, but the Arizona side has the views!"
