What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Temple Railroad & Heritage Museum for its affordable admission and the unique opportunity to explore actual train cars. Families particularly enjoy the engaging scavenger hunt and the friendly staff. While most experiences are positive, some note that interactive exhibits can sometimes be affected by unsupervised children.
"Fun family oriented museum. Scavenger hunt. Lots of cool things to view and you can even explore the trains cars out on the tracks. The interactive section of the museum was a little messed up from overzealous kids not being watched by their parents. The typewriter was actively being destroyed while we were there by a young child. Had to pick up typewriter keys off the ground and reattach them when they stepped away. Close to downtown Temple as well. Good place to walk when you are finished."

"I returned here again this year for my Birthday Photo shoot. It's so rich with railroad history and I have a few favorite places. We didn't do the Waterpark this year but I still enjoyed the shoot.....I'm HEADED SOMEWHERE!!!
