What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests frequently praise The Woodlands Resort for its excellent location, spotless rooms, and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, making it a great spot for relaxation and family fun. However, some visitors have encountered significant issues with room cleanliness, specifically mold, and have expressed dissatisfaction with the resort's handling of these problems, alongside concerns about overcrowding at the waterpark and unclear parking policies.
"Great location just north of Houston in a peaceful area, perfect for relaxing. The rooms are spotless and well-maintained, providing a very comfortable stay. The staff offers exceptional attention—friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, quiet place with outstanding service."

"An above average price and expense to travel to this resort was rewarded with a moldy room. We asked the staff multiple times for assistance and were told it was not possible to have a clean room. Manager showed no interest. I would advise avoiding this property if mold or clean rooms are important to you. The ice machine also was not working and the in room service was leave you decaf coffee. It’s not free - you pay for it. These details made the stay unpleasant. The on premise golf seems inviting- but be prepared to hike with your clubs. The staff ignore you and never offer to give you a ride. They just stare at the ground. I never feel like the staff sees me as a guest- just on their way. Maybe the moldy and mildewed room made me overly sensitive- if my work didn’t require me to be onsite; I would have been gone within a few hours."

"My family and I had an amazing stay at The Woodlands resort! Everything from the pool to the drinks to the food were amazing. Pool staff and front desk staff were all great! The only reason I am putting 4 stars is because we didn’t have our room clean during the 4 day stay. I had requested an early room clean while we were out because we have 2 little ones and I didn’t want them to come during nap time. I called front desk and they said they would send someone right away and never came…I was hopeful the second day but again no show. Other than that our time was great and we will certainly be back! :)"
