Me and my buddies are planning on flying out to Wyoming in August and getting a rental car and just traveling around the whole state/region for a week. Any tips and cool spots to check out would be appreciated!
Last minute trip to Wyoming, would I be missing out by not planning farther out?

Along with Buffalo, my favorites would be Lander, Thermopolis and Saratoga. Varying quantities of scenery, good restaurants and hot springs (Thermop and Saratoga anyway).

"According to staff the Hot Springs County Museum has been around and accepting items for one hundred years. It shows. There is hardly a corner or showcase that is not stuffed with memorabilia. Two floors of exhibits. The basement has a recreation of shops from before the turn of the century . Well thought out and maintained. Thank you to the dedicated staff for preserving this important piece of history."
