What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently rave about the Star Trek Original Series Set Tour, calling it an 'absolutely amazing' and 'must-do' experience for fans. The meticulous recreation of the iconic sets, especially the Enterprise bridge, and the passionate, knowledgeable guides are frequently highlighted as major positives. While some note the potential for crowds during special events, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly enthusiastic, with many expressing a desire to return.
"Amazing!!! Absolutely amazing!!! Many of us have seen every episode countless times, and we had seen pictures of this studio set, but nothing replaces the feeling you get when standing there, "inside" the Enterprise!! Ashley was our tour guide, and she was great. She truly loves her job, and constantly asked us if we were having a good time. We did the "Photo Tour", so had a more private tour (Thank you again, Ashley!!!). If you're a Star Trek fan, this is a "Must-Do". If you are able, definitely go for the upgrade to a Photo Tour, as the experience will be that much more unique and memorable vs the regular tour done in groups."

"WARNING: Do not attempt a game of Star Trek trivia with the tour guide. Seriously, he is that good, and you will lose.
This museum, unassumingly housed in what feels almost like a strip mall building, is a wonderful, nostalgic ride through the way-back machine for those of us old enough to remember the first episodes aired on television sixty years ago.
It is also a revealing look into the short-cuts and creative, cost-saving set-building techniques employed in a weekly show that needed to stay on budget and on schedule. I stood on the bridge of the starship Enterprise and marveled at how the crew created a show so rich with sets and props, despite the modesty of their resources.
The tour itself was fun, and the tour guide was friendly and endlessly knowledgeable. It is nice to see the set of this iconic, ground-breaking show live on and shared with the Next Generation. (See what I did there? Ahaha...)"

"I did the tour with some friends from Austin on 8/27/25 with David Gerrold giving the tour and it was fantastic. His knowledge of the show made the tour so interesting and all the stories he had from his time working there was great to hear.
James Cawley has done an absolutely fantastic job of recreating the sets and it was just amazing being able to walk through them and to sit on the bridge of the Enterprise and watch The Trouble with Tribbles episode on the Main Viewer."
