What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Apollo/Saturn V Center as a must-see attraction, particularly for its awe-inspiring Saturn V rocket and immersive historical exhibits like the Firing Room Theater. The bus tour is well-regarded, though arriving early is key to avoiding crowds. Some find the gift shop offerings standard, but the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, offering a profound connection to space exploration history.
"Well worth the free bus trip out to see.
Recommend getting the first bus trip of the day when you enter the park as it does get busy otherwise.
This is the final stop of that tour. A number of shows that chart the undertaking that happened in the 60s and all are worth watching.
The Saturn v rocket inside is a sight to behold as are the displays all round the edges including a gift shop, photo opportunities (extra fee), an exhibition sponsored by Omega showcasing one of Speedmasters worn in space.
Complete recommend."

"The Apollo/Saturn V Center tour begins in the Firing Room Theater. Three screens show actual footage of news clips from when NASA began, and ends with footage from Apollo 8. The Firing Room is an exact replica of The Firing Room from the 1960’s and has the actual launch consoles used in the Apollo missions. There is also a re creation of the first lunar landing mission, Apollo 11 in the Lunar Theater. It was amazing walking under the Saturn V rocket, the size of it is something to see in person. The Saturn V rocket is the center piece of the Apollo/Saturn V Center, and is almost the whole length of the building. You are able to take plenty of pictures, shop, eat lunch, or just chill out. The Right Stuff store has all kinds of NASA gear, candy, dolls, tote bags and snacks. NASA tote bags make awesome souvenirs, and who doesn’t like a nice tote bag."
