What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Mosquito Lagoon for its exceptional fishing opportunities, particularly for redfish, and the unique chance to encounter manatees while kayaking. However, some reviewers note inconsistent customer service at local bait shops and the significant presence of mosquitoes, advising preparedness.
"Loved it got my bait in and out and guy was super knowledgeable about fishing i did forget to grab my ice when I paid for it though 😆 it will be there next time waiting for me I guess"
ROBERT PATRICK
"Rude service and teeny little shrimp. Cashier was miserable and complaining that customers were coming in wanting bait. There are two better bait shops close by on garden street."
Demetri Fassilis
"Probably best known for their live-bait options, but they do have some tackle and gear too. Not a huge selection, but they have some. Parking is tricky, best to go on the side or around back by Burger King.
Kudos to the wife of the husband/wife team, she is a sweetheart. The husband is usually pretty salty, he does the service, just not the smile. Great location if heading to or near Canaveral National Seashore."
