It's a highly recommended stop for those interested in 19th-century life and architecture, offering a valuable glimpse into the past at an affordable price. Some visitors note it's not a place you'd stumble upon, requiring a deliberate visit.

"Was a neat little Historic Site. Definitely worth a visit and some interesting buildings and interesting architectural features. One of the few remaining Stagecoach lodges on the Old Turnpike. The grounds are easily navigable placards and information podiums throughout an interesting little stop when you're in Toccoa"

Eric Vowell

"Very special to see this 200-year-old inn on the SC-GA state line, with so many of the original, preserved furnishings that belonged to the family who owned it. It's like stepping back in time. Very fascinating to learn about how people lived and tavelled here in those times.

Mr. Hawkins, who I would assume is the primary guide here, as the property is only open on weekends, is a very nice and informative gentleman. The price of admission and the self-guided tour is meager, and it's fun to seek out the interesting pieces from the video you're shown at the beginning."

Brady Bowyer

"Highly suggest to tour and film. It was very informative. The gentleman that we had was full of information and well versed. It was a great feeling to step back in time for a moment. Artifacts very well preserves."
