Thank you to Retired Asst Chief Robert Schwanzl & the “cellar dwellers” at the Toledo Firefighters Museum Inc for presenting Fire Class #293 with a little #ToledoFireHistory today at our museum. Great way to build class pride by showing them the history and traditions of our department. #tfrdfc293 #toledofire

‪Welcome to the K-1st graders from the Byrnedale YMCA of Greater Toledo Day Program who stopped the Toledo Firefighters Museum Inc this week for a tour with Firefighter Denny! The kids explored all areas of the museum and had a great time learning fire safety in JEDS Room. ‬#toledofire #toledo419 #ymcatoledo #firesafety #toledofirefightersmuseum

No Touching the Trucks

While trucks are on display, please refrain from touching or climbing them. :noentrysign: Reddit

Enjoyed learning all about Fire Safety with my daughter's 1st grade class at the Toledo🚒 Firefighters Museum. I've been there quite a few times but every time I learn something new, like the fact that the firemen average 60,000 runs per year 😲. Touring the museum makes me appreciate our first responders even more! Also, why do brothers always feel the need to #photobomb ?#firesafety

"A must experience museum! The history of Toledo FF and EMS is so interesting and they have great displays and Interactive room for kids to learn about safety."

Jessica Lambrecht

"Very knowledgeable and passionate about the history. Unfortunately, I didn’t find it too kid-friendly (for a 1.5 year old who is obsessed with trucks) the tour is more so for adults. That is the only reason I took away a star. Very grateful for the service of the men and women, just wanted to leave an honest review in case you plan to take your toddler there!"

Victoria Northrup Wishau

"One of the nicest, well kept and friendly museum I have visited in years. So much of the history of Toledo’s Fire Departments are located here and are well kept. The gentlemen that will escort you around are very knowledgeable and have plenty to explain. It’s well worth the stop! PLEASE, they work off donations, so drop a bill or two in the box."
