Reviews Summary

Visitors find Toughnut Street Historic Row to be a fascinating step back in time, particularly appreciating the historic courthouse and its authentic artifacts. While some note disruptions from construction noise or the presence of modern items, the overall experience is considered a worthwhile immersion into Wild West history, especially when combined with nearby attractions.

"I have a great imagination, and I look/read everything at a museum. First, the 7 minute movie I was watching was ruined by the sound of a jackhammer right outside the window. Then, my museum experience was ruined yet again because the staff felt it was important to store current day goods next to or in the midde of the displays. Because of disruption and ruination of my experience, I thought the fee was a little high, but understand that money is needed to protect
our history. There is a sign on the door that warned of noisy construction, but nowhere was there a sign that said, "As your thoughts take you back in time, and your daydreaming about court house shenanigans in the 1800's, never mind the 2025 polo shirts hanging out next to the judges desk." Now, imagine my eye roll."

"Free admission for the Christmas celebration. Nicely decorated with staff in period clothes. Fascinating exhibits laid out well to allow people to move around them easily. Mexican ballet folk dancing was beautiful and fun to watch. This was our first time visiting the courthouse and we were lucky we chose the Christmas event day to go."

Jennifer Higdon

"Visiting Tombstone Courthouse State Park is a great experience stepping back in time to the Old West..The abandoned town lives again with a museum..reenactment and a real west feeling.☆☆☆☆☆"
