"As part of a cross country road trip in September 2024 stopped to see several state capitol buildings. Kansas has a very nice one that is well worth the time to visit if you are in the area. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Tour lasted about an hour and included a lot of information on the history of the state. There is a separate tour for those that want to go up into the rotunda area. We didn’t do it due to time constraints. Highly recommend seeing this state capitol building if you are in the area."

"Another great capitol. It has a parking garage right under the building, which leads to the visitor's center. There is an informative museum and gift shop. The building is very nice inside and allows you to tour the dome and even go outside around it. I did not go on the tour because there are certain times they do it. I would definitely try to come back just for that."
