Is this a do-able mini-road trip from Anchorage?

Hi, sorry if it's been asked before. I'm in Anchorage the end of June next year with wife and in-laws (late 70s), coming off a week's cruise (including a day cruise in the Kenai fjords). We're planning to rent a car at ANC and have three days before flying out. Does this look…

Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the magnificent, awe-inspiring views of the Alaska Range, calling it one of the most beautiful sights they've ever witnessed. The drive itself is also highly praised for its scenic beauty. However, the experience is heavily dependent on clear weather, with clouds frequently obscuring the main attraction, Denali.

"Just about the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Worth the drive!"

Dannyel Genthner

"A parking space and nothing more but Magnificent views! Make the stop here and you won't be disappointed....unless it is cloudy, raining or snowing ..then maybe not a lot to see."

Connie S. Spicher

"The northern viewpoint for Denali - it has more space for parking and overnight camping but a slightly less good view of the mountain as the peak stands out less.

Definitely worth stopping if you are planning to head all the way through the pass up to Fairbanks but if you’re just travelling up from Anchorage for the view then the south view point is all you need."
