"I’d seen people say it feels like your own private beach and I agree. At 6 am there was absolutely no one around, just us and a couple of seals. The beach is super clean, the sand is really comfortable to walk on and the waves are gorgeous. It was so peaceful and quiet. I get the feeling it doesn’t get too crowded even during the day because there are only couple of private houses around. Perfect spot for long walks and absolutely gorgeous sunrise pictures."

"I visited Ballston beach on September 4th 2013. It was a beautiful mostly sunny day with a light breeze. Its an easy walk from the parking to the beach and water. The beach itself had beautiful soft sand, really fine and sort of beige in color. The surf was light when I arrived early afternoon but picked up a bit towards the evening. The the ocean temperature was nicely refreshing but not cold in the high 60s. The vibe here was so peaceful."
