What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Cold Storage Beach is a charming, albeit small, bay beach known for its clean sand and shell-finding opportunities. Visitors appreciate its quiet nature, especially outside peak season, and the chance to spot seals. However, its size, particularly at high tide, and limited parking can be drawbacks for some.
"Super nice little bay beach, quiet in early June, small parking area but not crowded. Sand was nice and clean, and there were shells to be found. Dont let the name scare you off, this is a nice beach for relaxing in the sun."

"This public beach is literally a size joke. It is very very tiny, you can walk it end to end in less than 1 minute, then you will see lots of lots of long private beaches on both sides. Parking in the area is very difficult I didn't even try it, I biked from my camping site. It seems that visitors are not welcome. Unfortunately, home owners in the area let their greed dominate the way visitors enjoy (or not) the beaches. Not sure I can speak of progressive Massachusetts in this sense. Sorry, but I never agreed with the idea of privatizing natural areas."

"Small beach due to private beaches surrounding - good sized parking lot"

While the beach is small, its intimate setting and the ever-changing landscape make it a unique spot on Cape Cod. Visitors often appreciate the quiet atmosphere, especially outside of peak summer weekends.
