What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find the Truro Farmers' Market a charming and worthwhile stop, praising its selection of local produce, baked goods, and crafts. The friendly atmosphere and the opportunity to support local vendors are frequently highlighted positives. However, some reviewers note its smaller size and wish for more variety in produce or a greater number of craft-focused stalls.
"Very cute market! It's super small so it's a quick stop, maybe a few dozen vendors. But they're there rain or shine! I expected more variety. I don't think I would be able to do my weekly produce shopping there like I would expect to, there did not seem to be enough vendors offering fresh items and of course, it could be the time of year too. I would have liked to see more local makers there, like artists or bakers. I felt like there were a lot of organizations which is fine but thats not necessarily what I go to the market for. I would go back though!"

"This morning, I went to the Truro Farmers’ Market. It was a rainy morning and the farmer’s individual stalls were situated in a huge semi circle over a large field to insure that customers would feel safe as they shopped from the individual vendors. I was impressed with the selection of everything from locally baked breads , fresh produce and exceptional looking shiitake mushrooms! I’m sure that as the summer progresses, the farmers will have lots more produce and other homemade treats to sell!"

"This Farmers Market always tends to be pretty good. I love locally grown produce and this market delivers. There usually a nice variety of venders and a beautifully eclectic range of products from fresh produce/flowers to crafts and more especially as the season progresses. The Everyone is friendly. Beware that parking maybe limited but fully worth that mild frustration. Even the location is pretty. I will remember to take photos next time."
