What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Rock Creek Greenway for its peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty, making it a great spot for dog walking and leisurely strolls. While appreciated as a local amenity, some feel certain sections could be improved with better maintenance, clearer signage, and more varied terrain. Occasional issues with flooding and unexpected encounters on the trail are noted, but overall, it's seen as a valuable green space for recreation.
"So beautiful and peaceful. I loved taking the dogs here. Naturally, we had to stop so they could sniff every leaf, but it was worth taking it all in."

"The Greenway could be a lot better, but it's not terrible...AKA better than nothing. There are several sections that just seem like an afterthought ending randomly. The section over by Ollie's takes you through a less desirable residential area before you get to the library and bridge over Rock Creek. This section has zero guidance as to which directions to go but as of now since it's a fairly new addition you can just follow the newness of the sidewalk and cross your fingers. We passed a local couple that were passionately making out on the middle of the trail when we passed by with our stroller. They were so into it they just kept going were even there when we came back through. Would have been fine had they not literally been on the middle of the trail. I don't think I'd let kids venture out far on this path."

"It's and great place to bike and walk and run.But It floods and lot.It needs to be longer .It also needs more hills and it needs more woods and to be clean up.It is nice along the creek it has snakes. If you go druing tge day you don't have to worry about snakes. Its not perfect but it's and good place in town to walk it just needs to be longer and more hill and clean up and more hill some flat and some hills that way everyone is happy."
