What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Chandler Park's natural beauty, especially the limestone bluffs and scenic views, making it a great spot for hiking and escaping the city. The splash pad and playground are big hits with families, offering affordable fun. However, some trails could be better marked and maintained, and occasional litter or graffiti detracts from certain areas.
"The views and cool limestone bluffs and cliffs make for a great hiking trip! Nice and clean community center with an awesome splash pad! However, there are a few downsides. Some areas have graffiti on the rocks, couple places have litter, and in one area deeper in the trails there was a homeless man sleeping. Also a lot of the trails aren’t marked well and are overgrown."
Aidan Byers
"Very nice. Had a really wonderful visit. The trails are great and the park is super clean. The history was very interesting to read also. Take the kids and go have fun."
Bob Barnett
"A good place to go to feel like you're actually getting out of the city. It's a big park with options. There is a rec center, a nice splash pad area, and a pool for the kids. They have a lot of picnic areas and shelters/roofed structures for larger gatherings. Disc golf, hiking, rock climbing. A good park."
