"It's a beautiful old house from the outside but even though the website said they were open, and when I called I was told they would be open at the regular time (2:30 pm), when we got there about 2:40, they were closed. I called & was then told that they were closed because of an event at the Jemison-Van de Graff mansion which meant it was also closed. So, all I can give it is 1 star because the website calendar should be updated to show when they're closed for special events & when you call the day you're planning to go, they should be able to tell you whether they're open or not."

"THEY SHOULD NOT SCHEDULE OPEN HOURS WHEN GUIDES OFFEN DO NOT SHOW UP. better to be open 2 days a week and show up 100% of the time, than to be open 5 days a week and show up 40% of the time. Very rude situation for visitors."
