Reviews Summary

Visitors love the Tuscaloosa Riverwalk for its scenic beauty and extensive walking paths, offering a peaceful escape along the Black Warrior River. The potential for wildlife sightings and the vibrant Riverwalk Market add to its appeal. Some visitors noted occasional sewer-like smells in certain park areas.

"Beautiful spot to walk that has a lot of different starting spots, come of which being super close to campus!"

Molly Kerr

"Loved the scenery and walking path. The farmers market was nice and green tomatoes were good."

Rey Thornton

"I didn’t take any pictures but I did get some video of either beavers or otters. You have the possibility of seeing them, also could have been muskrats. We saw four of them. This is a really nice riverwalk that leads in to quite a nice park. If you live in the apartments you have a nice backyard you can come into.

It does smell a little like sewer walking in the park sometimes. It’s nice to watch the barges and other boats. There is also a riverwalk market but there was a private event going on but that would have been nice to visit.

If you go into the park know that there is a chance you could see all sorts of animals. Stay back and respect them. This is their home too."
