What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Split Rock Wilds offers a challenging and rewarding mountain biking experience, praised for its technical trails and scenic beauty. Riders appreciate the well-built features and the sense of accomplishment after conquering the demanding climbs. However, the remote nature and potential for muddy conditions require thorough preparation and carrying spare parts.
"Hope you like the climb, I'm more of a rhythm and glide, Ebs and Flow gravity rider myself. However, they say the burn is worth the gain. It's always great to be on the Northside of that shore. I'd do it again."
J Rosandich
"When I went, it didn’t rain for 2 months, so the waterfall had very little water. Make sure you go after a rain."
Huilian Sophie Qiu
"In addition to the trail head marked on google near cove point you can also access an easier part of the trail near the newly constructed shipwreck cove campground in split rock state park. The trails are easy but fun with some optional terrain features. Lots of bridges and crushed rock for quick drainage. Once you cross a small bridge over the creek from these entry points you head on the ridge and into rockier and more technical riding."
