"It was a beautiful day at a beautiful place. Woodland Dunes is a sanctuary for birds and wildlife. A two hour class visit provided the beauty of a pollinator garden, a short walk where we saw birds, butterflies and even a frog. There was a presentation on bird banding and I learned the chickadee is the hardest songbird to handle! The new building and nature center is spacious with plenty of educational areas. I highly recommend a visit and allow plenty of time for a hike."
