"Employees are friendly, but there's really nothing impressive about the place. Cool history, but not worth the $15/person entry fee. There are some pieces that remain in the home from previous owners, or items found on the property over time, but a good bit is simply "true to the era" of the section of the house it's in. Don't get me wrong, I love old stuff, and history, so I did enjoy looking at things and hearing the stories, but I got bored quickly. I imagine they offer the tour in an attempt to tell the history of the place, otherwise, there wouldn't be much draw. Sad to say, but I wouldn't recommend this place unless it was free or had a lower entry fee; it's just not worth it (IMO)."

There were 2 tour guides who contradicted eachother. The stories were poorly told and jumped back and fourth . It could have been so much better."
