I liked that their staff took great care in bringing down the American flag during the start of a heavy storm to protect it. Lots of parking. National cemetery across the parking lot overlooking the Mississippi River. Very peaceful surroundings. Handful of picnic areas for use."

"I’ve been here several times on road trips. I enjoyed it so much I brought my teen boys to see it this time. They were very interested and liked they could actually walk out on the boat and see the cannons, etc. A museum is attached and informative.
The Beautiful grounds are good for birding, also.
