Reviews Summary
Visitors generally praise the East Terrace House Museum for its well-preserved Victorian architecture and extensive antique collections. The knowledgeable volunteer hosts are frequently highlighted for their engaging stories and passion for local history. Some visitors have noted that arriving close to closing time can feel rushed, and it's advisable to plan for earlier tours.
"Great museum to visit. $10 for tour but if you do all 3 houses - it's $25. I didn't have time to tour the other 2 houses. They are opened only Friday and Saturday. Doris was a great tour guide. It was really nice to learn history of this house and the family who owned it."

"Do not try to come for the 3pm guided tour-upon arrival, we were told by Mrs Doris Rose it takes 30 min to close the doors etc (but a young assistant was present so maybe he could have taken care of that) and we were invited to quickly tour the house on our own and watch the time!! (that was repeated to us many times). So we paid our entry fee ($10 per person) but it is definitely not the welcome nor experience we had rushed to come to!"

"Worth the Ten Dollar entry fee, cash is accepted. Self guided tour with a volunteer host that is happy to jump in with info when desired. This is a well maintained historic home that is well appointed with historic gems around every turn. I appreciate that we were turned loose to look around, at our own pace. Of course it's about looking and not touching. Most of the house is open with very few areas off limits."
